Hi folks, this may seem sort of peripheral to kinky salon folks, but I'd argue that it's actually really important to all of us -- keeping women's reproductive healthcare affordable and accessible for all. Yes, that includes abortion, but it also includes family planning, STI testing, and a whole host of other things.

The oldest feminist clinic in the country has shut its doors this week because the state of California hasn't been paying its bills on time. I think you'd agree, that's just fucked up. I've been organizing to mobilize folks to challenge this awful turn of events, to support the clinic and to challenge the state to take responsibility for its actions. Please join me in this, and tell your friends to join in. This is a totally grassroots thing, and it really needs the energy and work of lots of people for it to work. But I know y'all have that. And I know you also have a vested interest in keeping healthcare available for GLBTI and sex-positive people who might not get as friendly a reception in the average medical clinic.
